Managing change is a critical element in any improvement effort. Sustainable change occurs when organizations and individuals adapt to enable it. This means that an organization must understand and support the change so that everyday thoughts and actions reflect the new way of doing things. encounter organizations who are frustrated because their efforts to
institute new systems or processes are unsuccessful. Even if the
change works initially, they soon find themselves reverting back to the
old ways of doing things. Management and associates are all
equally frustrated, and their desire to engage in more change-focused
activities is muted at best. Situations like this are usually the
result of engaging in well intended initiatives without
